Privacy notice
How we collect, use and protect information submitted through this website.
Who is responsible for your information
Tooting Web Hosting is operated by Softotic Ltd, the data controller for information collected through this website. Softotic Ltd is registered in England and Wales under company number 16371717.
Registered office: Beechcroft Road, London, England, SW17 7DP. Privacy enquiries can be submitted through our contact page.
Information we collect
The launch form requires an email address and consent. It may also collect a first name, business name, current website, postcode, service interest, page source and technical information needed to prevent abuse. Optional fields can be left blank.
Why we collect it
We use launch-list information to send requested launch news and relevant service updates, understand broad interest in the launch, administer the list and protect the form from spam. Submission does not create a hosting account.
Our lawful basis
Launch marketing messages rely on your consent, collected through a clear launch-list action. On detailed forms, the consent checkbox is not pre-selected. You can withdraw consent at any time. We may process limited records where necessary to demonstrate preferences, maintain security or comply with legal obligations.
Service providers
The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Launch-list submissions are handled by a Cloudflare Pages Function and stored in a Cloudflare D1 database controlled by Softotic Ltd. Cloudflare may process technical request information as our infrastructure provider.
Retention and unsubscribing
We retain launch-list data only while it is needed for the stated purpose or to respect an opt-out. Marketing emails will provide an unsubscribe route. If you unsubscribe, you will not receive further marketing unless you later provide new consent.
Your rights
UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the use of your personal information, and to withdraw consent. You can exercise these rights through our contact page. You may also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
See the ICO’s guidance on direct marketing using electronic mail.
Cookies and analytics
This build does not include analytics or non-essential tracking by default. If non-essential technologies are introduced, this notice and the consent approach will be updated first.
Changes
We may update this notice when the service, contact routes or processors change. Material changes will be dated and communicated where appropriate.
